My Favorite Shoes for Travel

April 20, 2022

The age-old question of how can shoes be both cute, but also comfortable for travel?! I’ve tried several types of shoes over the years, from boots to sandals, and have narrowed them down to my top four most comfortable, yet stylish shoes that are great to wear when traveling

Bhava Ginsburg Winter Lace-Up Boots

I have worn these boots all over Europe during my winter travels and they are, hands down, one of the most comfortable pair of boots I own. The faux fur lining keeps your legs warm and provides the perfect cushion to walk around cobblestone streets for hours. The boots are made of Italian vegan leathers that do not contain aromatic amines, PCP, formaldehyde, PVC, phthalates, azo-dyes, or chrome.

Allbirds Women’s Tree Runner

These sneakers are made with lightweight breathable eucalyptus fibers and have cushioned midsoles that provide support all day. They are also machine washable, which makes them perfect to carry around while traveling!

Everlane The ReLeather Court Sneaker

These sneakers are made from recycled leather scraps that require no new tanning or dyeing, with minimal water use and waste. I have walked around all day in these and while they are very comfortable, I would recommend wearing socks as your feet can get a bit sweaty walking around in them after an hour or two.

Munro Pisces Sandals

These sandals come in a variety of widths and as someone, who has slightly wider feet, I really appreciate I can finally find a sandal that fits comfortably, but also looks cute. These shoes provide great arch support as well. However, since they do have a slightly higher arch, they may not work well for those with flatter feet.
